We are looking forward to what could possibly be one of the best seasons in the past few years here in the golden triangle. The weather forecast looks great and we have seen an unbelievable amount of mature bucks this summer.
We’ve started the season out strong with 6 doe kills in the first 3 days of season. Management is key to our success and we have certainly started the season off right.
My wife Melissa Milliken got her first bow kill sunday evening harvesting a nice doe, she hunted the first 3 days of season passing small bucks and seeing many deer out of bow range. Congratulations to her on a great hunt and a good job contributing to our management program.
Hello from Jeff Butler, Head guide at WITO. The last few days have been great, lots of great encounters and big buck sightings. We have been doing a great job harvesting does on a daily basis doing our part in the management program. next week looks strong with unusually cold weather coming to our region.
